Founded on February 22, 2021, we are dedicated to providing exceptional hospice services to those in need. With our initial licensure approved by the Nevada Department of Public and Behavioral Health in February 2022, and Medicare accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) in January 2023, Sunset Haven is committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

What is hospice?

Hospice is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problems associated with life threatening illness through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification, and treatment of pain and other issues.

Hospice care is a choice that can provide patients and their loved ones with comfort and dignity during an often-difficult time.

Choosing hospice does not mean giving up, It is design to help you focus to comfort, control of symptoms and quality of life when dealing with a life-limiting disease or condition.

Eligibility for Hospice Care

To be eligible to elect Hospice care under Medicare, an individual must be entitled to Part A of Medicare and be certified as being terminally ill. An individual living with any type of life-limiting illness who are not seeking aggressive, curative treatment.
